Q. How do I invite someone to WedConnect with my plans?

A. If you need to invite someone to help plan your wedding using the WedConnect feature, you can have your helpers download the WedConnect version of Wedding Planner here (the Mac version is also available to download at the top of each Wedding Planner product page). Please note: the WedConnect version does not function as a demo or as a full version of the software.

Each WedConnect user will need to download the Wedding Planner WedConnect version shown above. WedConnect Users will then need to install the WedConnect version of Wedding Planner and enter the Wedding ID in the Guest User section of the Welcome screen (this should be emailed to your helpers through the WedConnect section of Wedding Planner...the Notify WedConnect Users button).

A Login window will then open asking for the users User name and Password (also included in the email sent by the main planner).

Once this information is entered, WedConnect users will then have access to the main planners Wedding Planner, but will not have access to any parts of the wedding plans that are meant to be private (as chosen by the main planner).

Please Note: Connecting to Wedding Planner using WedConnect may take up to a few minutes depending on Internet speed, volume of WedConnect users online at same time, and your computer hardware.

Q. Why does Wedding Planner run so slow?

A. This is most likely because you are now in WedConnect mode where your wedding database has been uploaded online for you and your WedConnect users to work on together. Since all information is updated in real-time dynamically, this can slow down the performance of the program. To get Wedding Planner to work faster, simply disconnect from WedConnect in the WedConnect section of the program.
